Gray Matter Interactive Studios, Inc. was a computer game developer, which was acquired by Activision in January 2002. Gray Matter was previously known as Xatrix Entertainment, Inc. Towards the end of development for Call of Duty 2: Big Red One in 2005, Gray Matter was merged into Treyarch, and the team responsible for titles like Return to Castle Wolfenstein is no longer recognized by that name.
