Black Bag is a weapons mod being created for Black Ops 2.0 (which runs on the Rogue Spear: Black Thorn engine and contains all pre-Raven Shield Rainbow Six content). Emphasis is on realism.
v0.87 adds Desert Eagle pistols in .41 Magnum, .44 Magnum and .440 Cor-Bon and the APS Stechkin machine pistol in stocked and unstocked configurations, along with the suppressed version, the APB.
[Stability of this version is doubtful due to files inherited from a previous version tested unstable. Crashes to desktop due to this instability may interrupt your gameplay, but should not adversely affect your hardware or software.]
Black Bag is a weapons mod being created for Black Ops 2.0 (which runs on the Rogue Spear: Black Thorn engine, though that title is not required to enjoy Black Ops 2.0). It aims to improve weapon reloading and firing sound effects (already completed), create new AI capabilities (like throwing grenades or suicide bombing, already in the mod, or carrying non-weapon objects until confronted by RAINBOW), improve accuracy and recoil modeling, and implement NATO 3.5 ammo types (already completed), all for a more realistic playing game. Weapons will also be added.

This mod may not work with Rogue Spear or Urban Operations, as it has not been tested and some of the files reference files found in the Korean "Take Down" version of Rogue Spear.
Black Bag uses NATO 3.5's accuracy and recoil modeling for pistols and LWM 6's accuracy and recoil modeling for longer firearms. It also uses NATO 3.5's ammo types for player weapons. (There is presently a problem with assigning these ammo types to tango weapons. I believe it will be possible, but it will require work.)
Black Bag may also use user-interface graphics from other mods for weapons and equipment because I don't presently have the skill or desire to install and use the software that would be required to make my own. I will attempt to credit those mods when I do.
It might be possible to use this mod in competitive gameplay. Please share any video of attempts to do so, especially if it is amusing.
There are some alternate recordings included. You can swap them out by backing up the original file and then renaming the alternate to the default filename (referenced in the weapon's .kit file). There are numerous sound effects that I am not completely satisfied with, so I'll be keeping my ear out for replacement sounds for those.

IN MEMORY OF MY FATHER, CONSISTENTLY MY BEST FRIEND AND GUIDE IN LIFE, WHO WAS A COMPLETIONIST WHO DID NOT LIKE TO BE TOLD HE WASN'T ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH SOMETHING AND DELIGHTED IN PROVING HIS NAY-SAYERS WRONG. HE COMPLETED ALMOST ALL OF THE RAINBOW SIX AND ROGUE SPEAR MISSIONS ON THE HARDEST DIFFICULTY WITH NO LOSS OF TEAM MEMBERS AND WOULD RUN THROUGH THE MET OVER AND OVER SHAVING SECONDS OFF OF HIS TIME. I WISH HE WERE HERE TO ENJOY THE INNOVATIONS I HAVE BROUGHT TO THIS GAME, WHICH WAS THE BIGGEST BONDING EXPERIENCE WE ENJOYED SINCE I WAS A CHILD. I WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE HE IS GUIDING MY MIND AND MY HANDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS MOD, BUT WHO CAN SAY? ARE WE LIVING IN A SIMULATION PLAYING SIMULATIONS? I CAN ONLY HOPE WE'LL PLAY MULTIPLAYER ROGUE SPEAR AGAIN ONE AEON.
