Welcome to the latest updates on the PCapture modification! In this article, we will cover various aspects of the modification, including the modified Pseudo-Compiler addon, new models, storyline updates, and the code and mechanics behind the project.
1. Modified Pseudo-Compiler Addon
The Pseudo-Compiler addon for Hammer Editor has undergone significant changes in our development process. This addon allows the use of non-existent entities called Pseudo-Entities. Please note that this addon is currently under development and testing. Its open availability is planned for the future.
2. New Models
As we dive into the second act of the modification, we have been busy creating new models. These models include various types of cubes, MobileFaithLeap, lasers, and more. Yes, lasers will be a part of PCapture, and that's not all! See the gallery of our model designs below:
3. Storyline
We are excited to announce that I, laVashik, has completed a brief summary of the modification's storyline. The PCapture storyline will consist of three acts, but we won't spoil anything at the moment. Trust us - the storyline is very good by fan modification standards :D
4. VScripts and Code
In the process of developing PCapture vscripts, my utils module has accumulated numerous useful functions. To make the most of this resource, I'm creating a separate open-source library called PCapture-lib. This library will include various features and enhancements, such as quaternions, interpolation functions, smooth animations, enhanced vectors and entities classes, and a comprehensive traceline class.
In the future, I may also add some new and interesting things, hehe.
