Version 1.12

The new update is now available for download. It is by far the biggest one yet and includes a completely new weapon arsenal, new dynamic weather, a new A-life managment system, graphical improvements such as Screen Space Shaders, numerous fixes, balance improvements and much more.

New Features (shortened):

  • Completely replaced the weapon arsenal with BaS + selected weapons from Gunslinger and others.
  • Added gunshot sound layering (different sounds for different distance ranges, JSRS style).
  • Replaced the weather with CGIM 2 with dynamic weather managment.
  • Added new a-life and respawn managment system from DSH.
  • Added visible 1st person body.
  • Added shader-based 2D scopes.
  • Added Screen Space Shaders.
  • Added support for laser sights and alternate aim positions.
  • Difficulty is now split into gameplay and economy difficulty (as in Anomaly). Both affect various factors of gameplay.
  • Added various new gameplay options to the menu.
  • Add the "Mysterious sniper" quest from RMA.
  • Added special exoskeleton use animations from Gunslinger.
  • And more... full detailed changelog + updated credits.

Suggestion from me for the next update: Add lower weapon option/script like it is in Anomaly. A button which lowers your weapon, not hides it if you know what I mean

I helped Mamai by killing Borov. Went back to Bar, asked Barman where he's at, said he escaped. I know he's at the bandit base, however I was hoping the bandits there would be neutral so I could talk with Mamai to turn in the mission. I ended up paying Snitch the 30k to make the bandits neutral so I could go in and talk with Mamai to complete the quest. Is this how it's supposed to be done? Or could I also just fight my way through the base and Mamai would be neutral?

The rarity of certain weapons must be lowered. I sure do love watching bandits at early stances of the game spawn with foreign M4A1's and common Stalkers have fully customized-tactical AK-74/100 variants in pretty "broke" up and coarse places such as the Cordon, Garbage and Agroprom.

I can't play the mod because it gets frequent updates. Whenever I see an update, I think that I'd miss these new features if I played earlier. Then, I decide to wait until it has 2.0 version or something that is a complete mod that requires only small bug fixes :) Thank you for making this mod, your dedication and effort! seaz5150

I applied the last patch and the game crashes when i load my save :/ also i got 2 bugs 1.- I don't see the points of npc's in the minimap 2.- when i open the pda it opens instanly and not with the animation

Post the crash log on discord if you want it resolved. It's likely that it was caused by a previously installed addon though. The PDA "issue" sounds like you just turned off 3D PDA btw.

Edit: The crash was caused by using a translation not updated for 1.18. Do not use old addons or translations, wait for them to get updated.

It seems to be crazy in dark valley, mutants and fightings everywhere, and the duty member rescuing mission can hardly go smoothly.I tried for 2 hours and the damn duty members just wouldn't get out of dark valley.

I am absolutely loving Radiophobia. Great job! One addition would be nice tho, I feel like at times I am save scumming. Is it possible to get the YACS (Yet Another Campfire Save) as a gameplay option. Only being able to save at campfires would make this mod so much more HC for people that wan't that. In the meantime, I will try to self-impose a YACS play-through. Thanks again for the mod, love it :)
